Rare Bird - 16oz Can

After a year of our Brewmaster churning out new recipes every week, they sat down and talked about which beers they liked best. Rare Bird was a unanimous addition to the favorites list, which earned it a spot as the first beer they're bringing back for cans! They've partnered again with Rare Bird Coffee, an artisanal roaster in Northern Virginia, to combine two of their favorite beverages into one tasty pint! This year they've selected Rare Bird's El Filo, a medium roast of beans from the Moreno family farm in Santa Barbara, Honduras. The coffee's notes of milk chocolate, hazelnut, and pear were irresistible when their Brewmaster picked the beans. He then ground 30 pounds of the beans BY HAND to get the crush right and double cold-brewed them for blending. The result is a light golden pint that smells like coffee and tastes like beer, with a subtle roasty aftertaste and a fruity pear-like finish. A final touch of lactose keeps things creamy. Don't be fooled by the color -- they brewed a blonde ale base to let this beautiful coffee shine without having to compete with roasted malts; 7% abv
